Found this storefront on a URL not listed above: http://lenhjepqgyow.programsfield.com/. Thanks to everyone who reported this- I would have purchased it if the URL wasn't so odd, then I came here and my suspicion was confirmed. Love this community!!

Another IP leading to either Smart Shop or Soft Store (from SoftBuy LLC): 37.228.88.168
Offers there are ridiculous cheap, that made me check it here in the community. Luckily I haven't bough there anything yet.

First, I really appreciate this community.

I originally found SmartShop looking for someplace that had a payment plan for Lightwave or at least a decently discounted, older version. SmartShop had ver. 9 for $150 (down from $895). Significant drop? A bit, but not out of the realm of possibility for software that's 4-5 versions old. Ok, maybe a little out of the realm ;-)

Out of curiosity, I looked up Adobe Photoshop. And that's where it got ridiculous. CS6 Master Collection for $200! That's down from $2599! I don't think so.

I then did a search for Smart Shop and found this website. I will be using this a lot more from now on.

So, I wasn't successful in pinging the site, but here is the address:

hello,
i fell for it...what can i do now? i'm really embarrassed, because i usually quite experienced with this sort of thing and know what to look out for. i only realized after the purchase, when i received the emails confirming my order - that sounded fishy. i bought photoshop elements 12 for 69 US dollars, instead of 99 advertised on the adobe website - somehow this seemed reasonable, believable. after the purchase in the emails i received the serial number and instructions to install. it says i have to disconnect from the internet during the installation and i have to choose offline activation, and also that i must not sign in to adobe - now at this point i knew it wasnt genuine. i have a trial version installed on my pc - the given serial does not work with it - but at first i thought maybe its a different version. then i saw in this installation guide that i have to uninstall any previous photoshop elements software to avoid conflict. i havent done any of this yet...
kind of troubled as to what to do next. any help would be appreciated...
thanks
