there are many ways to destroy...
Mein Glueckwunsch !!!
E. M.

Could you elaborate that..?
Ekkehard May: "Chess Diagrammer IS DEAD!"
Dead? It looked alive, when I just visited it. When I checked reputation here and there, I found only green ratings, 2 grey (=unknown) and only one red rating, from WOT. Unfortunately there are no comments to explain why. Does anyone have an idea..?

Looking at the site, there
Looking at the site, there is nothing bad at first glance, and looking at the ratings, they have low reliability.
I would guess there was 1-3 people that rated site baddly.
Possible reasons for that are competition, personal dislike, you have spammed someone, or your site got infected at one point or another.

QN -> QB3

I like chess, started playing around 8 years old. I still have my Napoleon pieces from when I was 12 and a book with some Fischer and Spassky moves from their 1972 match - now you can see the BBC Documentary on YouTube
Quickly checking SafeBrowsing your site has never been referenced as being suspicious.
URLvoid has positive [clean] results as well, excluding WOT (since we're here).
I downloaded your chess diagramming software (ver: 5.1), uploaded it to VirusTotal which reports 0/42 results
I also checked your domain for spam at mxToolBox.com that reports: 0/100 (5 timeouts)
Hostname: mail.chessdiagrammer.com sitting on IP: 85.13.131.145
Visiting the sight, I find no cookies are dropped - Nice!
Looking at the whois for chessdiagrammer.com offers the same information as found on the site's Impressium page: http://www.chessdiagrammer.com/cdg_imprint.html
I find nothing malicious, invasive, or unsavory - nice site.
You're other site: nostalghia.de has the whois registration referring to the host.
It is a simple phpBB3 forum that discusses your freeware, photography and other things.
It drops 3 phpBB3 session cookies; as expected.
Though no PII is collected from the sites, it would be wise for you the domain owner as well to ensure your site visitors, if you were to place a Privacy Policy for both domains. This not only comforts your curious visitors (such as myself) but also protects you the site owner.
As is, I offer Excellent ratings for both:
chessdiagrammer.com
nostalghia.de

Mysterious
So far nobody can find anything wrong with this site, and yet it started with a red rating.
No comments to explain why, but there must be some explanation to this...
Btw, rated green...

It shares hosting with 164 other domains a 85.13.131.145. Maybe someone found some of those to be bad and got enthusiastic and rated down the whole list?
Nettes Tool, sehr brauchbar.
