Hi
You dont have any reputation.
There is no content on your site, but you have a contact box. You should have a privacy policy, currently it appears as though you are email harvesting.

Hi,
We have now launched the product. The site has content and Terms of Service. I therefore believe that we deserve a re-evaluation.

You're kidding about this service. Right?
Why in the world would I let my files be scattered across the globe on other (unknown) peoples personal rigs.

Also your definition of free is misleading. To get such amount of storage I have to give the same amount on my rig. . . that's not free.

Really what in the world made you think this service would be of any value.

Hi,
The fact that the files are encrypted and replicated across the globe actually makes the system more reliable than the traditional approach, were you keep all the files in a single data center. This became a real issue during the storm Sandy, when many data centers became flooded: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/30/hurricane-sandy-websites-floods-data-centers_n_2046034.html

Also you are not required to share space. You are always guaranteed a minimum of 3GB and you can earn a lot of bonus quite easily by just inviting some friends (your friends will get bonus to, from your invite).

I hope that clears any questions you had. Feel free to let us know if there's anything else we can do for you!

and that one percent of important data I needed is on someones computer that just crashed, got infected, or the individual didn't pay for his internet and is lost forever.

Also you're on a shared IP, not very responsible for this type of service.

My rating and comments are fair, and shall remain.

I think you misunderstood what our about page meant when it said: "We only store around 1 % of an encrypted file at each location.". This page is admittedly somewhat confusing and we should improve our description on that page.

By 1 % we mean that we split your file into 100 pieces and store each one of them on hundreds of computers around the globe. More than 65 % of all of these places can crash, get infected, or don't pay for their Internet and your whole file can still be restored. In addition to that the system automatically "self heals" by automatically replacing any computer that crashes.

The bottom line is that by applying advanced replication algorithms we have made the system very reliable, despite the fact that each individual computer in the system is unreliable. I understand that it feels counter-intuitive, but that's the truth.

We are not the first ones to use this technique to increase the reliability of a system with unreliable parts. This concept is usually called Erasure Coding. http://searchstorage.techtarget.com/definition/erasure-coding provides a pretty good explanation on how it works in more detail.

Also, regarding your comment about us using a shared IP Address. The reason for that is that we use a service called CloudFlare. They provide automatic protection against many typical attacks on the Internet: https://www.cloudflare.com/features-security/. We therefore use them, as a way to improve the security of our system and guarantee the privacy of our users' data.

:/
Please kill live links
wwxxw.example.com
The first one, has over 15 cookies = trackers / beacons, but the most important part is that violates forum guidelines
If you are referencing a URL, change the HTTP to HXXP. For example:

hxxp://www.bad-malware-site.com/images/phish/virus.html
hxxp://127.0.0.1/exp/botnet/phish.php
https://www.mywot.com/en/guidelines/forum-guidelines
Now going back to the main topic, I do trust a site that in the process of coding and building such site, the owner starts collecting data and in particular email, as far as I recall, this is the first one

I cannot avoid the suspicion that there is an ulterior motive, in my opinion, is not to be trusted because, is not safe

My rating remains

Good luck
