Greetings WOT,
Found out on the Avast blog today there is an interesting article from the CEO of Avast, that they have ended their relationship with 3rd party phone support service, Iyogi. Many customers complained that the company insisted on remote access to their computers, made up computer problems over the phone to try to scam people into buying their software, that had nothing to do with their issues! I presume that this applies to both domain names iyogi.com and iyogi.net.
Note that iyogi.com has a Red WOT rating at this time. iyogi.net is rated yellow. Please take into account the CEO of Avast choosing to end support service with iYogi should you choose to rate iyogi.com and iyogi.net. The story can be found here:

I also did a search on the Avast community forums for Avast customers who had issues with Iyogi's business practices. This can be found here:
Put "iyogi" (no quotes) in the search box, and it should take you to all the negative posts about the company.

RE: Avast Ends its Relationship With Controversial 3rd Party Sup
I read about that yesterday and thought iYogi sounded familiar. This is the same company/service that provided technical and customer support to Computer Associates (Now called CA Total Defence). During my time as a moderator of the CA home and home office forums we frequently had complaints from disgruntled CA customers who were urged to pay subscriptions to Iyogi, massive rip off prices of US$169.00 yearly subscription on top of their current CA security suite yearly renewal costs when they phoned up for support.
A friend is checking if iYogi are still being used by CA..
I wonder how many other technical and customer support iYogi have with yet unknown companies especially computer security ones!
Here is another one:
