I have given up on SiteAdvisor
I have given up on SiteAdvisor
I even have a Plus license and I went through the trouble of talking to a McAfee specialist to get a site with known malware to check the rating and he said that it would be changed immediatly but it was not when I checked a week later.
To get rid of all SiteAdvisor traces from my systems I had to go to great lengths as a Service refused to be removed but I used Autoruns to remove it.
So to quote the Raven nevermore will SiteAdvisor be on my systems.
Ask Steven B. what he thinks of SiteAdvisor.

The Borg
(incidentally, support for SiteAdvisor was MUCH better prior to McAfee's taking over it).
Same as Norton being assimilated by Symantec and Sun Microsystems Inc soon to be assimilated by Oracle Corp.
Looks nervously over sholder to see if any Borgs are lurking about.

SiteAdvisor
There was a report in Windows Secrets recently which slated SiteAdvisor's delay in updating ratings, and claimed many could be one year out of date.
McAfee responded by trying to explain how it retests sites, but it still doesn't look good.

Site Advisor....does not advise
There are some interesting comments to be found but overall SA is way out of date and cannot be relied on for any form of accuracy,
Both sites rated too
