Who ever made these misleading reviews for WOT in Mozilla add-on? I mean, WOW! They even top of the reviews, top of being douche-bags trolling / hating on the internet. Can someone flag those hate reviews over WOT?

On the other hand, the stock replies by the WOT representative(s) are models of restraint and dignity.

Guidelines for rating add-ons

Add-ons ratings should be fair and give a good indication of overall quality and usefulness. Don't just give it 5 stars if you like it or 1 star if you hate it. Consistent grading is an important part of any review.

5 stars: Excellent. Not only does everything it claims, but it is significantly more useful than many other add-ons. This add-on is likely to be one you use often and you highly recommend it.
4 stars: Good. Useful and easy to use, though not necessarily special. This add-on is recommended but may be more suited for some people over others.
3 stars: Passable. May have some design issues and/or some missing features. Any problems it has are not drastic enough to recommend against, and some people may still find it useful. Recommended for those who need it and are willing to give it a try.
2 stars: Poor. Add-on is of low quality, usability, or just doesn't do what it says it should. You are recommending against this add-on, while noting that it might have some redeeming value for a few people.
1 star: Bad. Add-on either doesn't work correctly or is utterly useless. You can't think of any significant reason why someone should give it a try and are recommending that it be avoided completely.

Every negative review for WOT, is one star rate , with mumbo jumbo explanation
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mumbo_jumbo_%28phrase%29
This behavior should be noticed by Mozilla as spam but is their call as for the lies is a twofold attack , in which those that can use the services of WOT , may not, due to ONE person not just defending his income , but making the net unsafe that, he can keep on scamming , those who do not have a warning system base on trust , but the truth always prevail , and faster if we act

Hey Guys, Check this out with his/her reviews of WOT:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/GiancarloMancuso/

I can't believe he/she mentions (or "blames") some usernames like Kraftwerk, DestinationTruth, NotBuyingIt, SuperHero58 and others, for his/her hate reviews of MyWOT.

affidabbile (correct form "affidabile")

@ GiancarloMancuso: senza offesa, ti suggerirei di riprendere in mano il sussidiario.

@Leo =
affidabbile (correct form "affidabile"}
Do you think he was trying to say: "affordable ", in the English text?

But why repeat the same mistake in Italian, instead of writing "conveniente " ?

As you mentioned

I don't believe he is Italian and his English may be, a second language and not his native language, a cool name though

I just don't understand, why Mozilla allows two posts, instead of combining both of them as a translation of the same message :/

from a Mozilla review —
After all this I visited the valuation of these sites on mywot and I became suspicious,
most of them are not evaluated by visitors to the site but find myself always the same people,
as username: Kraftwerk, DestinationTruth, NotBuyingIt, SuperHero58 and others ..
Ouch. Could it have been something that I wrote in the Forums yesterday?

No, "affidabile" stands for trustworthy.

I think he is from Italy, most likely a kid

Then he probably wouldn't understand any obscure reference to another Gian Carlo M. either ...

... or why I would recommend that link to two of my fellow "rogues".

I don't doubt that the majority of 1 and 2 star comments are submitted by a small group of people intent on discrediting WOT in the hope that users leave, downloads become less and less etc, so that those who like to scam, phish, etc, etc, have an easier time exploiting people. Well, guess what! It isn't happening imo and proves WOT is doing a good job.

My personal opinion is that the current 3 star rating WOT has on the Mozilla addons reviews page, is not that unreasonable. I would like to see WOT hit 3.5 - 4 stars (taking into accunt areas which I feel could be improved upon and the fact that there are many scorecards which have inaccurate ratings.
