Best free/paid antivirus
RE: Best free/paid antivirus
I believe Eset is the best paid antivirus as it offers high detection rate, low false positive if nothing, low load and various options and capabilities. I agree with bitdefender too. As a free antivirus, I guess it's the Avira.

Satisfied with built-in Windows Defender on Windows 8.
For me there is no need to use strong internet security solutions, because I do not install suspicious software, my computer network area is working behind the NAT and browsers are always sandboxied.

avast! is a useful antivirus. It has good detection rates and some pretty unique and useful tools such as Sandbox that most antiviruses (if not all others) don't have. Malware Bytes is also a good AV to have with avast!.

I personally no longer use Comodo (It was annoying me) and now I use avast! free edition. There are also paid versions of the product. I use avast! free edition with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

RE: Best free/paid antivirus
I would prefer having both AVG and Immunet in my laptop. They are the best ones.
RE: Best free/paid antivirus
I think Avast is best but I heard people says Kaspersky , McAfee , Bitdefender and Norton are doing best for them.
RE: Best free/paid antivirus
Don't forget zonealarm, it offers the best firewall you can get for free along side of it's virus protection.
