Fake "security scan" when installing WOT extension

When installing the WOT extension it now refers to https://app.mywot.com/security-check?utm_source=install which is displaying a fake "security scan" in order to entice people into purchasing the paid version.

This is the kind of thing we have rated websites badly for in the past.

I thought WoT was supposed to be trustworthy, why are they doing unethical things like this?
