New design - what link "counts"?

Post by redblade7 » Wed Dec 09, 2015 2:05 pm

With the new design, the sites emailspam.tld, emailspam.tld/unsubscribe.html, emailspam.tld/tracking?abcdefg, and emailspam.tld/wp-admin/malware.php are considered separate sites. Rating one does not rate them all. Should I strip everything and rate only emailspam.tld, as myWOT used to do, or do I have to rate all four for it to "count"?

Hi,

in general all domains except a few ones should not have pages as separate targets for ratings. So, this is a bug of the new scorecard. Please do not rate subpages since those ratings will vanish after the bug is fixed.

"www" is treated as a subdomain, which duplicates the infinite amount of possible scorecards. "http://" is replaced with "_p_" when you try to rate it

Seems to be fixed as of 12/16
The "http://"->"_p_" bug seems to be back as of last week

Just tried a domain with and without the www subdomain, and it came up with the same scorecard.

Yep it appears to work now

Still there are infinite scorecards for every possible page, folder, and subfolder on a domain name. That needs to be fixed.

(At least I can rate my own Twitter account while the bug lasts :)

Twitter accounts are a special case on WOT. They will remain once the bug is fixed.
