BUG CODE - and request

Post by c۞g » Sun Jun 13, 2010 4:10 pm

Code: Select all

tag bug
Include a line break and the upper half is styled differently than the bottom half

BEGIN "code block"
<code>
Nunc rutrum, lacus non varius convallis; massa purus tempus risus, tristique adipiscing tortor augue quis metus. Phasellus nisi elit, pretium eget facilisis nec, commodo a diam. Vestibulum mollis felis at felis dictum pellentesque. Aliquam vitae aliquam arcu. Sed iaculis iaculis pulvinar. Curabitur aliquet, sem dignissim volutpat ultrices, mauris arcu lobortis velit, eu bibendum risus nunc nec felis. Cras porta consequat gravida. Nulla sodales ultricies orci. Maecenas dapibus nulla quis erat accumsan elementum. Curabitur venenatis feugiat felis; et tempus velit adipiscing quis.

Vivamus vel enim purus, a dictum elit. Nulla a est dolor. Aliquam sollicitudin feugiat nisi, at aliquam lacus condimentum ac. Mauris a tortor a erat rhoncus elementum at et massa. Nulla purus odio, condimentum ac consequat a; commodo eu enim. Maecenas vitae libero a massa dictum feugiat.
END "code block"

How does this look different than the rest of this post?

Most forums / blogs / etc style code blocks so they appear different than the rest of the post area.
Since this theme style is centered on gray / white
maybe a code box could have a 1 pixel border of #333 with a 3 to 5 px padding
and a different inner color such as Light Goldenrod Yellow ( #FAF8CC ).
The font is fine "as is" displayed in the upper region.
This would allow the block to stand out; as they should.

just a thought ...

BUG UL

Post by c۞g » Sun Jun 13, 2010 4:21 pm

Here is an unordered list: (code box)

Code: Select all

<ul><li>The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog</li>
<li>The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog</li>
<li>The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog</li></ul>

NOTICE:
1] the list is out-dented as opposed to being indented
2] bullets are missing, this is a list and should look like one - the bullet CSS is there but is overwritten with [newer] rules
3) line spacing, the list should "flow" within the same paragraph, with the line spacing it looks like several paragraphs...

Here is an unordered list:
  • The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog
  • The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog
  • The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog
Followed by some text:
Etiam placerat, lectus vel sollicitudin varius, odio lectus molestie nibh, fermentum fermentum felis felis ac metus. Integer metus est, varius quis pretium sed, pretium bibendum mi. Aenean in ligula mi, sed pretium est. Phasellus vel risus nunc. Nullam nisi nunc, molestie sed tincidunt non, fringilla nec neque. Proin malesuada ullamcorper.

Translation bug

Post by Warxas » Sun Jun 13, 2010 9:38 pm

There is no translate button on forum posts, this didn't seem to affect scorecards.

Friend Badges HTML Source Error

Post by Galaxyfox » Mon Jun 14, 2010 2:44 am

http://www.mywot.com/en/friends

The source code placed for the second button (medium) is currently placed next to the first button (small.

The first button should have http://cdn.mywot.net/files/friendbadges/friend_small.png and the second should have http://cdn.mywot.net/files/friendbadges/friend_medium.png but right now it's reversed.

There are translate buttons if Google can recognize the language.
