When you look at the forums

Post by Guest » Thu Jun 10, 2010 4:23 pm

When you look at the forums there seems to be issues with some topics being 3-4 line in depth compared to others. Means scrolling is required more. eg:
the word 'ago' sits on its own line in many topics! The forum needs to be widened to make it look more universal.

Also the place to enter text seems to be messed up as the box goes off the page and when you type a long sentance the words disapear off screen.

Just finished this post and I don't see a submit button! Only cancel and an X!!! Guess I will have to click reply to another persons post to get this posted. :(

The new look was a shock and I personally prefer the old design. Not sure if I can get used to this as it doesn't feel right to me.

/edit

Just submitted this post and the whole page went doo-lally and totally messed up on pagination! Seems there is some major issues which have to be sorted out.

Gotta rate this new look with a thumbs down.

I do agree with the points that you said....
But what do you actually mean by saying, "Also the place to enter text seems to be messed up as the box goes off the page and when you type a long sentance the words disapear off screen."?
It doesn't seems so to me since it will automatically continue the word on the next line..

We're working on the scorecard rating issue, but I haven't been able to reproduce the forum trouble. I seem to always have both preview and submit buttons. Have you tried doing Ctrl+Shift+Reload?

Edit: Okay, I see there are some overflow issues in this thread on Internet Explorer, but not with other browsers. Are you using IE?

Edit 2: The scorecard rating problem should be fixed, or at least it's usable again. We'll be redesigning the scorecard completely in the coming weeks.

Edit 3: The forum overflow should be now fixed too.

The Submit button should be there. I can always see it. LOL.

I am using 2048x1152 screen res and it's still the same. I see no submit button when you write a new comment rather than reply to one!
