I am mostly interested in being warned about known attack sites. I always Google a bit before I decide to give some stranger my money so I prefer to decide for myself whether a site is reliable. Is there a way to tweak WOT so that the only warnings I get are for attack sites?

If not, are there tools out that will do that?

As Front101 pointed out, Firefox incorporates SafeBrowsing for Phishing and Malware domains.
You can also use which can protect a single PC or when IP's are entered in to your router, your LAN is protected.

Bear in mind, neither Google SafeBrowsing nor OpenDNS will offer a warning if the domain has not yet been reported to them.
OpenDNS runs PhishTank, so verified Phishes return this URL:

As for tweaking WOT.
There is no method to organize reputations strictly for "attack sites"
In WOT "attack sites" "phishing sites" "scam sites" or sites with poor reputations are treated the same.

However, you can adjust your settings to Very Poor reputations and if you use IE or Firefox, you can turn off the warning screen and use the notification bar instead (my personal preferences).

Report spam: (Lookup to see if already blocked by fortiguard) (Forward spam as attachment) (Spam URL and resolves-to URL. "Spam URL" or "Malicious website".) / Webroot (Up to 10 pages of CAPTCHAs in order to use. Spam sender, body URL or body IP > report as "spam URL". Report redirected-to "phish & other frauds")
/SkyStoreFileUploader/upload.aspx#url (there's an intentional break-space in the link due to an error in the forum formatting. Brightcloud-webroot (URL web filter) / Symantec web filter (Include link to Spamcop ID report/parse>report as "spam" or "suspicous". Redirected to spam URLs>"scam/questionable") / Symantec-Brightmail email lookup. Symantec may create a filter based on a threshold number of emails reported.
Forward as attachment to: / McAfee (Calls IPs "URL's". Login to track. Spam sender>"Malicious site") / Raytheon / Forcepoint (Spam sender>"Security:Compromised " or "Internet Technology:Web/email spam") (And forward as attachment)

Many submission processes ask for good sources of notable blocks-filters already in place, in the additional info-details box or email.
