The New WOT - Moving Forward
Long process to edit an existing rating
1. Unable to perform simple edit of a rating
This is an issue with MyWOT ratings.
After posting a rating for a web site, I can not go back and edit it.
[EDIT this has improved to permit the edit]
The way to do that now is to
1. view the previous rating
2. click the"pencil" edit icon, then
3. go through the process of ... selecting rating stars if changing, then
4. selecting the violations from the 3 following panels if changing, then
5. copy and pasting the original text, and
6. making modifications, before
7. posting it.
With the loss of the mass-rating tool, and being restricted to only one rating at a time, and now this long, tedious process to modify a posting, this whole rating process is just unworkable.

Mass Rating Tool failure
2. Mass Rating Tool failure

the mass rating tool accepts the list of names, ratings and comments, but when you submit it, MRT goes into a loop and does not complete the request.
All I get is the interminable rotating blue donut.
It has been over 2 weeks now. It looks like there is no development for WOT, and nobody is maintaining it.
Will WOT disappear through lack of support? That would be a shame, as it has always had great potential.

Re: The New WOT - Cumbersome site rating
3. The procedure to rate a web site takes too many iterations.

The New WOT - Moving Backward....
Are there any working alternatives to mywot where the warning function still work? This site became quite useless.

Editing a previous rating.
If have modified my complaint about the tedious process of editing a previous rating.
It is now possible to use the pencil-shaped Edit icon, and to use copy/paste to retrieve the previous text.
However, it is still a multiple-step process that could have been provided in a single screen.

Re: Mass Rating Tool failure
I have just wasted hours performing identical ratings for 50 sites, one by one. It would have taken a minute using the Mass Rating Tool.MarkGiles wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 3:51 am2. Mass Rating Tool failure

Yes the delay in fixing MRT is totally unacceptable as well as the vague replies I have receive from support@mywot.com concerning MRT. From the replies I gather other issues with MyWOT are more important than fixing the MRT problem.

Re: The New WOT - Moving Forward
Legacy users of the mass rating tool (MRT) who haven't received any recent replies from the WOT staff may wish to make another attempt to use it. I notice remaining serious errors with the ratings system, so I can't evaluate the MRT's current reliability.Mandrake09 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 4:19 pmYes the delay in fixing MRT is totally unacceptable as well as the vague replies I have receive from support@mywot.com concerning MRT.
