The New WOT - Moving Forward
Re: MRT?
Re: The New WOT - Moving Forward
I managed to post a few hundred, but it still sits on the blue circling donut for a long time on occasions. It might not be fully recovered yet!
Anyway, I will start posting lists of sites to bulk report in various threads again, to enable a catch-up on many fraud pharmacy domains, in the hope that it still stays up and running.

Re: The New WOT - Moving Forward
With the old WOT ranking was right away, with the new one it takes several steps.
Call me lazy, but I found myself ranking much less sites that what I used to.

Re: The New WOT - Moving Forward
The new rating system seems to make no sense.
citizenshipsales.org had a tag of "phishing" and a reputation of 1, but no reviews until I added one yesterday. I tagged it for Spam, Scam and Misleading or Unethical and wrote a brief review. None of the new tags shows up, but the site's reputation has increased to 2. Seriously? Additional bad rankings improve a site's reputation? Also, since I rated it, its "Child Safety" score has gone from "No Data" to 100%, simply because it doesn't have adult, gruesome or nudity content. So a scam/phishing site is 100% safe for kids but not for anybody else?

Re: The New WOT - Moving Forward
Currently if you don't leave a child safety rating when you rate, the system assumes it is safe for children and automatically awards it 100%.

Now, ratings are also determined by the categories chosen more than the score given, so if you tried to rate CS red without picking adult content / gruesome, shocking, the system would likely ignore this rating.
A rating for phishing should also give a site 'safety rating', currently this feature is also broken - 'safety rating unknown'.
With the huge number of bugs that have resulted from this downgrade and the fact no-one can fix them, the sensible thing would've been to roll back to the previous version of Wot until they could find a competent dev .

Re: The New WOT - Moving Forward
It appears to me that the safety rating is awarded to a site when the trustworthiness confidence reaches a certain threshold. Then it appears the star rating is just a copy of the trust rating, divided by 20.
Re: The New WOT - Moving Forward
It seems that we are moving far backward rather than forward. The main account knocks me out of session, scorecards show up very annoying pop ups advertising Wot addon that very hard to close at first step. Very hard to use.
Re: The New WOT - Moving Forward
Several categories are either lost or have been removed (unless rating through MRT) :
Ads/ popups
Alternative or controversial medicines
Opinions, religions, politics
No yellow option for child safety.
Rating stars are not displayed for all users - likely those who don't want to use chrome.

Info on 'Take a Tour' pages is outdated & confusing to new members.
