What do you think of the new design ?
Personally, I like it. It makes WOT website more modern. I'm not someone from the website staff, I'm just curious.

RE: What do you think of the new design ?
I haven't seen the blog post (I went to the blog one time and I saw the date of the last post). As indicates your post, the mobile version sucks, but this is not really a problem because I think it's not possible to rate via mobile. But you're right, it's a very very very very etc... small deception, even a beginner web developer can do a responsive design. Not a big problem.

When you say
"the site does not have a responsive layout"
I don't understand what you mean
Here is some of the information I picked up
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Responsive_web_design [T]
https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/design-and-ui/responsive/?hl=en [T]
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_responsive.asp [T]
My head hurts
My opinion is that a change was necessary and this is a good start, I imagine that there are some "bugs" left, but so far so good
I will like "the invite friends button" to be smaller than the logo of WOT, so it would not be too distracting and though is different from what you have done before, I know that, you will surprise all of us, as you always do, but a change was needed I noticed a conflict between minimalism vs overloaded design .......... we need more harmony, but there is a big improvement in functionality and that is good
OK, now I am beginning to sound like an art critic .......... I spent too long reading, going for a break, but don't give up my friend
I know of what you are capable of doing and I have no doubt that the final work, will be a masterpiece

@Matiks =
I mean a layout which depends of the screen size which will allow to consult the forum on a mobile device for instance.
Oh like the water example
Content is like water
I got it!
- em, strong tags (I think due to "font: inherit;" statement)
- Menu which is hidden when you click outside a link (need to reload the page)
- Live links don't have a circle
- Text is hidden due to fixed menu height when clicking a link with text anchor.
But that will be different from the layout of the landing pages, would that be accurate?
Please bear with me, [be patience] but the previous coding remains the same, but coding the logo to make it a bit bigger that is different I like what is going on, since the possibilities are amazing, to ONE DAY in the future, monetize WOT
I have some reading to do tonight
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajax_%28programming%29 [T]
Unless you recommend something else, my apologies for doing a bit off topic, but I am beginning to understand

Dear WOT,
The font changes may take a little bit of getting used to seeing. I would suggest perhaps a choice of website skin like a black background with white lettering as an option. Black is cool as a color and more modern than white background. However, make it an optional choice. Keep the traditional White background for those WOT uses who like the regular look.
Satch
