Do you? ;P

The end of the world does not necessarily mean extinction of all human and other life on the planet, it could be a financial meltdown, breakdown of society, or anything else. As for this happening this month remains to be seen. I do personally think the financial breakdown is inevitable at some point in the next two years or so.

As for what the doomsdayers think, we don't have long to wait to know if they are right or, as has often been the case, wrong.

I do think some sort of conflicts will be happening in 2013. Mainly countries which are ruled by dictatorship. And yeah I agree with your point that the end of world will be a global recession or a crash in stock exchange market.

I suppose you could say the end of the world is already here (as we know it) with the supression of many things we have taken for granted with our rights quickly being taken away.

Consider these areas: The right to protest, Bare arms (US), the fraudulent voting system, dumbing down of the media, control of the internet, compulsory RFID tagging, surveilance of emails/mobile phones/surfing, gathering of invasive personal data to he held on a central global databse, DNA databases on everyone, forced vaccinations, failures in the police and justice system, covering up of crimes involving government officials, etc, etc. The list goes on and on.

More like Sheep
Harmlessly passing your time in the grassland away;
Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air.
You better watch out,
There may be dogs about
I've looked over Jordan, and I have seen
Things are not what they seem.

What do you get for pretending the danger's not real.
Meek and obedient you follow the leader
Down well trodden corridors into the valley of steel.
What a surprise!
A look of terminal shock in your eyes.
Now things are really what they seem.
No, this is no bad dream.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green He leadeth me the silent waters by.
With bright knives He releaseth my soul.
He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places.
He converteth me to lamb cutlets,
For lo, He hath great power, and great hunger.
When cometh the day we lowly ones,
Through quiet reflection, and great dedication
Master the art of karate,
Lo, we shall rise up,
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water.

Bleating and babbling I fell on his neck with a scream.
Wave upon wave of demented avengers
March cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.

Have you heard the news?
The dogs are dead!
You better stay home
And do as you're told.
Get out of the road if you want to grow old.

note: Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here / Animals tour (1977) was the _best_ concert I've ever seen and I've seen many over the past 40+ years...

Boss? Yeah, hey, I'm not coming in to work today. The voices told me to stay home and clean my guns.

and the last time you cleaned them?

I'm just glad Oklahoma changed our CCL to OCL! (closed carry license to open carry.)
"Better to have one and not need it, then need it and not have one."

Now that I'm already posting all just finish here.
1. The Mayan calender ending means nothing. Ours ends every 365 days. . .
2. The end will come some day, yet when is not predictable, though certain to happen; ELE's have happen many times on Earth and will continue to do so.

As far as what we'll be doing, heading South in the RV I hope.

Better to live in a country where numpties can't easily buy or own guns.

I knew you would be the first to respond. ~smiles~

I do agree. and laws do need to be tightened more. Though in the meantime I live in a country that even very young kids are dangerous. So strapping my P89 on before walking out has become an unfortunate necessity. I wish it was not so my dear friend.

The idiots will always find a way to get weapons here. . . Keep in mind that its not easy though to get an OCL.

Although there is a population that has been entered on my S$%t list. . . Squirrels!
Been spending the last month rewiring our RV! err. They had much fun while it was in storage.

BTW: Merry Christmas Jaz, and hoping you are well.

It would be a perfect world where people love and care each other and there is no feud. No one should be allowed to carry a gun unless he/she is a cop. BUT the world is never perfect just like our lives...

Americans should seriously consider to ban people in the public (including lunatics) from carry a gun into a shopping mall, school or office etc...
