Why was the scorecard redesigned?

Post by redblade7 » Sat Sep 10, 2016 5:52 am

With all the serious bugs that have remained unfixed for years now, including the inability to enter a site into the search bar without it failing ("http" becomes "_p_" and fails), there is an infinite amount of separate scorecards for every existing and nonexisting page, and there is no linkage to the site analysis thread from the scorecard, leaving me with fallback for thousands of ratings over cleaned up sites, I think we need to know...

WHY was this redesign done at all?

Some people report bugs...
Others complain...
But nobody asks...WHY???
WHY were the scorecards redesigned, and WHY have they not been functional for years?

Don't forget it misses the "confidence" rating, even though I once posted a mock-up at https://www.mywot.com/en/poll/62116-scorecard-update-how-important-is-the-confidence-rating-to-you#comment-318366

The scorecard was redesigned in order to deliver a cleaner layout of information. This was a natural continuation of the new home page and WOT 3.0. It functions as it always did, and we're returning several of the missing features that were requested.

Coming soon to a scorecard near you :)

Edit: Now on every scorecard near you :)
