WOT's new Privacy Policy dated May 24, 2018

Users should encounter the following message:
Important Notice
WOT has a new Privacy Policy, effective May 25, 2018.
See https://www.mywot.com/privacy/privacy_policy

Since I don't know what the substantial policy changes are, I've opened this thread for discussion about the new policy. I'd guess that the new updates to the WOT browser extension (or add-on) incorporate the revised privacy policy.

Considering a combination of the GDPR deadline, ESL, WoT system issues, minimal person-power, and who-knows-what-else, I guess it's not too bad. It seems complicated by attempts to logically combine both PII and non-PII in generic statements that consequently beg restatement; and there seem to remain some assurances from simpler times whose fit is imprecise.

Ideally it's a work in progress. Meanwhile, it appears that one can quickly purge all of his PII by setting his profile birthdate to 12.97 years ago and then reporting himself as under 13.
