I can only agree with what has already been stated. There are many legal sites that comply with the various legislation required, but because they are legal does NOT mean that they do not harbor malware and many of them will infect users computers. There are many 'adult' sites that are clean, but as a WOT member I would still rate them red to safeguard minors from images which should be behind an entrance portal and not splashed all over the screen, so the red rating warns WOT users that it is dangerous for a variety of reasons, be it malware, racism or adult images.
Being community driven, as well as support from many well know groups, it makes WOT unique, multi-racial without bias where users work together collectively to protect other users from the dangers of surfing.
WOT does what other linkscanners and Site Advisor cannot do, it blacks out offensive pages/sites with a warning screen, others merely give it rating.

Surf safely, surf with WOT.

malicious

my reference to malicious is one of worms, trojans, malware, virus, generally "badware" - those items that WOT protects us from.

Child Safety?
Definitely as low as red can go.
So people who wish to customize their WOT Settings and block Child Safety Ratings at orange through red have no worries about sites like this being displayed; while others who wish to view these sites can.

I am not condoning pornography, but I am not hiding my head in a hole either.
Adult websites are a multibillion dollar a year business - people are looking, subscribing, downloading, and generally participating to have caused this high margin of profits. It is my opinion that a WOT rating should be unbiased towards the content displayed, it is the safety from badware that should be the judge of a sites rating.

To say all adult sites = malicious intent to distribute viruses, etc. is the same as saying all gaming are perfectly safe. Each site must be judged on its own and rated accordingly.
