<quote user="shazza">Fake Apple Support found a 'porn virus' on my Windows Desktop.

It's a regular "red-light district":

avg247technicalsupport.com

Someone from the above site had the audacity to spam the Bleeping Computer "General Security" thread. One of the mods there has since taken it down, but it was a classic. I also reported it to AVG. What they choose to do with it is their business.

Addition: appears to be part of a large ring of scam tech sites. Same phone number as: usfixtech.com, listed at HPHosts as "FSA", hxxp://hosts-file.net/default.asp?s=usfixtech.com. Same phone number (877-609-3714). Googling the phone number boggles the mind.

Someone with the same phone number attempted to spam LinkedIn. Post deleted when I reported them.

2nd spam post on LinkedIn deleted after I commented and reported them. I also reported the profile.

In the last day or two, this user
WoT Account: "jessicahuddle" - https://www.mywot.com/user/7485460
Wiki Contribs: https://www.mywot.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/Jessicahuddle
"contributed" 15 new pages to the WoT Wiki spamvertising only the telephone number 1-844-445-9264 offering airline tickets.

Apparently the fake computer error / fake tech support business at this number needs supplemental income:

iosalertmessage.com
gamey247.com
freegames4online.com
gamepaark.com
