The rating for this site is wrong,

it is voted red, simply because of this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3atmWmWCwlw

when really all it says is goggle.com

see source code below:

Code: Select all

Right! I just checked the site on Sandboxie, and that is in fact the source code, I also took a screen shot of the site.

Fake, fake, fake

That video was just a promotion to advertise SiteAdvisor, goggle.com does not really give you those infections, it doesn't spam you with such popups even if you use a low security browser (IE6). That website may only popup about maximum of 4 popups and the website does has LOTS of advertisements, it also has a stupid timer (not sure if it's still there), and the website is just another typosquatter just like googkle. That video was pretty old.
Just MyWOT and SpywareBlaster, I guess...

It's just a scam site. Expect lots of spam if you tap in your email address there. I personally just block it with avast!'s Web Shield module even though I've never stumbled upon the site by accident. (On the other hand I hate annoying ads and scam offers so I would never want to stumble on this site due to a typo)

Weird

Post by Hottwire » Wed Mar 04, 2009 8:50 am

Because I went on this site with IE, Firefox and safari like i said, even went on it on a Windows 95 PC on IE and still got the same results as i posted originally. As Reprotected said before it was just a advertisement for siteadvisor.

I don't know, all i know is that i am typing the right address in!

I kinda forgot about that, I guess I though it would have been just as easy to click on a link.
Will do that next time!
