If you paid the Christian Prayer Center to pray for you, you may be due a refund

If you paid the "Christian Prayer Center" (CPC) to pray for you, you may be due a refund. It turns out that “Pastor John Carlson” was a complete fake and so was “Pastor Eric Johnston”. <!--break--> See the government notice at

The same site owner also operated a secular "complaint" website that also used "deceptive business practices."

The following websites are involved:
christianprayercenter.com (WOT scorecard)
oracioncristiana.org (scorecard)
consumercomplaintagency.org (scorecard)

Interested readers may locate a list of additional prayer-requests sites on the christianprayercenter.com homepage.

Terrible. Just go to your closest church, and they'll be more than happy to pray with you. If you can't go to a church due to a medical condition, they'll be more than happy to pray for you and your health. "Testimonials" should be a red flag, as it fails to acknowledge that you're placing your problems in God's hands, and He has the final say.
