Need big buckets of red paint

Post by app103 » Sun Jun 28, 2009 6:36 am

I can't remember if I made a comment on one of this guy's blogs or if he came to my blog and decided to start his annoying spamming of my email address from my contact link (more likely), but I have been getting a ton of spam email associated with his name (Emil Cohen) or one of his domain names ( ever since.

He has also been stalking me on various social sites such as twitter, facebook, and friendfeed.

Recently I caught him stealing content from another website and publishing it as his own. I let the blogger and anyone following me on friendfeed know what he was up to.

original page from real author: ... e_room.php
friendfeed entry from real author: ... nt-in-room

page from splogger's site: ... -room.html
friendfeed entry from the splogger: ... nt-in-room

Then I ran a check on some of the posts on that splogger's blog and discovered he doesn't write any of his own material...he steals it all.

While doing the check I came across his google profile and discovered that he's one of those locksmith/moving/carpet cleaning SERP spammers.

These are all his sites (and there was about 6 more that Blogger already deleted).
I have gone ahead and painted them all red and will leave a comment linking here on each of them to explain why.

And if you really want to see how spammy this guy is, after you check out all those links, check his gazillion twitter accounts and other social networking profiles listed on his google profile. He lists himself as a female on Digg, but has his standard ugly profile pic he uses on every site that clearly shows he's a dude.

Incidently, do yourself a big favor, and never use Google or any other search engine to find a locksmith, mover, plumber, or carpet cleaning company. They are 4 categories where you will find that 70% or more of the listings are all SERP spam, listing the same phone numbers and addresses and a lot of those are non-existant addresses.

About 6 months ago I had the displeasure of trying to find some place local within walking distance of my house to have keys copied, because my favorite local hardware store burned down. It was a horrible frustrating experience that took me around 4 days.
