Pretty unusual to register for rating of one site only, especially if it´s not your own

1. Our headquarters is based there. This is a prerequisite of the Cypriot regulatory authorities.
Cyprus is a full member of the EU community and is one of the biggest financial institutes centers in Europe.
Many stock and forex brokers, hedge funds and venture capital firms are managed from Cyprus.
2. Sorry can't help you with this one, but you can ask the users that wrote it.

Thanks for your reply.

1. Cyprus is a full member of the EU community

That´s nice but irrelevant.

one of the biggest financial institutes centers in Europe

LMFAO

Yeah, exactly. In fact. cyprus and other countries appear tp be a safe harbour for people who run sketchy businesses.

2. Well,it´s a pity. I mean if you sent a mail to our customers with an ask to rate your site it would be an explanation why they all decided at one time to rate it. But it´s unusual that they rate it togehter otherwise.

going to the wrong direction

Post by anyoption » Tue Sep 07, 2010 11:25 am

as we wrote above, we suspect our competitors, rating our website as poor and damaging our clean and excellent record of serving thousands of clients in over 100 countries.

We are here, trying to get objective rating from you guys.

Thanks.

I personally decline to rate

I personally decline to rate or comment on your site giving reasons, as explained by personal message to you.

What I will say is that your site does not appear to have had any real hits on your scorecard to give it a more sound rating one way or the other. I noticed that there were some users who posted positively with comments however as we often see in scorecards these users have provided little input on WOT or other site scorecards and only rated the 1 (yours). This leaves many people here to wonder if these users were created in which to bump up confidence on a site by persons related to that site.

I advise that you ask your customers to help you and provide feedback on your scorecard plus you give it more time to develop itself here. You can of course request comments on your site scorecard where others will see this and be able to give feedback. see: http://www.mywot.com/en/community (Recent comment requests)

What is going to the wrong direction? I want to know if your business is a reliable one and if there are any dangers. This is pretty important for that, so i´ve asked. And it´s not true that only some competitors rated your site bad as you can see in the number of figures next to the bar. And at least here your company does not have a good reputation.

Actually the phone number +442080997262 is a uk number. And the address Estias 11B Ilioupoli Dali, Nicosia Cyprus sounds not very reliable.
Anyoption Payment Services Ltd, Anyoption Holdings Limited sounds like a british company, right

Maybe interesting http://www.canyoutrustthem.com/index.php?go=details&id=12121&adv=&company_name=&city=&list=yes&offsetf=

Disclaimers

Post by Guest » Tue Sep 07, 2010 3:29 pm

@ anyoption,

Trading options is risky, and even though the risks are explained in your "General Terms", I would like to see the disclaimers proclaimed (not in small print BTW) along with the "70% Profit in Less Than One Hour" you have prominently displayed on your home page.

I mean, if you're going to prominently display the upside, why don't you prominently display the downside?

(BTW, I noticed in your OP you didn't mention the risks AT ALL.)

Options traders are notorious gamblers (which I assume contributes to the profits on your site . . . I've known options traders to lose their entire life savings doing this, ruin their marriages, make outrageous loans from sharks, etc), and even though it's unlikely you'll dissuade them with any disclaimer prominently displayed on your home page, I think it's a good sign of trustworthiness.

I'm certainly not saying it's your fault for their behavior (that responsibility is theirs alone), but you are in fact providing the tool.

Now even if you don't display your disclaimer more prominently, I'm not saying it's cause to downrate your site (and I realize that most trading sites DON'T do this), but it would set you apart from the crowd and go a long way toward trustworthiness.

Any site that deals with investments (and consequently the risk of losing it all) needs to be extra-attentive to issues of trust.

Edit: And from your OP:
  1. "does not require . . . previous trading experience"
That is extremely misleading. While using your software may not "require any previous experience", I hardly think that a novice to trading can knowledgeably pick investments.

The only problem I have with your links is that the complaint on all sites are by the same person....
Not standing up for them, just pointing out that even the best of companies do get complaints. One person does not condemn them.

Let me give you an example:
Citi Mortgage: https://www.citimortgage.com/Mortgage/Home.do?td=
Oh they are nice and green
Yet you can Google thousands of complaints including here:
http://www.consumeraffairs.com/finance/citi_mortgage.html
Not to mention my own personal experience where they sent hundreds of packets out with ones SS number, work history, tax records Et Cetera Et Cetera. to the wrong people.
http://www.sflorg.com/comm_center/announcements/p890_22.html

So what you found is not very relevant due to lack of complaints and since she mentioned no contact name attempts, also she mentioned and recommended another source.
