I'm British and had heard about this; however, I uphold my point that the site itself contains no malicious or illegal content. Also, your news source (the Beeb) is not that trustworthy; they tend to exaggerate things in reports to interest readers.

You could create two

You could create two accounts on your OS and install WOT on one but not on the other. Give the person who needs to access blocked sites the one without WOT on it.
