RE: Archiving reviews of sites when they change ownership?

While these considerations make sense to us, the vast majority of website owners are actually in another business and just using the internet to the extent they must. They have no idea about how to check the reputation of a site in the first place, else the sites with poor reputations wouldn't still...

RE: Planned Changes - Community Update

One improvement is my browser now populates the username/password to log in again. That had been broken a long time.

RE: A Republican Majority American Congress Betrays American's D

Someone could build an app that randomly visits websites when you're not on line. That would make buying browsing histories much less attractive, since they would have low quality data. I doubt enough people care about privacy to influence the data market by running it, though.

Both major parties have been "playing the electoral college," i.e., they don't bother to campaign in states they don't expect to win, as most states apportion their electoral votes in a winner-takes-all method. RE: The misguided view on Spam!

Remember that joe-jobbing is a common way to reduce the credibility of those who are fighting spam. Just because a link was placed in the forum doesn't mean the website owner was responsible. You have to check each one to see if it is likely to be real spam or a joe job.
