I was simply saying gold/platinum members because they probably would have <strong> less </strong> of a chance to abuse a "report" button. After all, if hardly anyone has access to report spam, what is the point ...

I couldn't reproduce this, but this is my guess.: Mozilla uses various mirrors to host their files. Perhaps one of the mirrors that they are using is dangerous, or got hacked.

As long as you didn't download anything, you should be fine. :)

I have seen some cases, where a domain was rated bad and now the owner wants a correct rating. Because the users that rated the domain, no longer frequent WOT, this domain will remain rated bad indefinitely. What I am proposing is for, ratings to "expire" more quickly. I don't have linux...

This may work though;

Type about:support in the url bar of Firefox, click the button that says "Open containing folder".
Open up the searchplugins folder.
Create a new XML file with the code from the second box.
