RE: User rating and comment

@evilfantasy: I'd feel fine if the comments would be private. As I'm (mostly) using it for making notes for myself. In my opinion users are mostly not interessed in technical details and I don't like it too much to argue with someone when nothing has changed. Most often it took a lot of time to get ...

RE: Large scale INTERPOL online pharmacy taken down

I give it a month and the bad guys will be back to operating at full speed. It's virtual whack-a-mole.

de.vu

Has somebody got some time to switch the green light off on www.mywot.com/s/center-k0ntt0.de.vu and btw. www.mywot.com/s/kont0-seller.cwsurf.de needs it even more to turn off the green light. It's just an Amazon phishing site. In my opinion the whole de.vu could be turned to red, I did not see any u...

RE: soft4boost.com

Found a message on by own board to rate soft4boost.com, but I did not rate it in the past. Dear Rmn I am sorry that appeal to you, but we have exhausted all possibilities to evaluate your site. Could you leave your opinion in the forum thread with our request for revaluation. I'd rath...

RE: Sub-"TLD's" used as domain name are problematic to rate

c۞g: I do not (much) want to distinguish between TLD, ccTLD, publicTLD (former eTLD), gTLD as most "users" will not be able to follow/understand the, technically correct, syntax. I fully understand what you are saying. On the other hand, what I want to ask for is: Can we ask wot to modify the behavi...

RE: Sub-"TLD's" used as domain name are problematic to rate

@c۞g: Thank you for explanation... And that is my point. Do a domain like de.com, rate it green and probably find some doing the same. After a while you do lots of adult sites, some spam forwarders, phishing, all below de.com. These sites will be green with no additional rating (because inherited). ...

@NotBuyingIt: Thank you
Re WOT consequences: IMHO the rule could be as easy as:
- if a second level domain (aka parent) is the same as any 1st TLD (meant any entry within the list in http://publicsuffix.org/list/), inheritance should be disabled automatically.
