I knew you would like this story Satch. ;-) In all fairness many well respected websites have been hacked. IMHO this topic should be separate from the download manager topic. CNET servers were compromised and CNET responded as they should have. Although I do think they are a bit slow to announce it....

Espionage and spying is one of the oldest political practices ever. I doubt any country is innocent on some level of spying on enemies and allies alike. What's embarrassing is getting caught doing it.

File Hippo used to be really good. Now it looks like they are going to be turning into another Cnet.

The common denominator of Cnet and FileHippo is they are both owned by companies who make most of their money from advertising.

Agreed. I like TWC articles but they have the ads maxed out on their website. ABP is a must have on that website.
