Ratings

At least for google searches, you can choose that you always want the worst circle to be displayed instead of the reputation in general. That way you can identify adult sites more easily.

Don't worry

In order to request a comment for your site, do the following: At the top of this page there is a text box where you can enter your URL. That is the adress of your site. If you do so, you will be taken to your site's scorecard page. On this page, there is a button saying "Request a comment". Click i...

Re: FF3.0.4

I've had similar issues too. Since I'm using Firefox 3.0.4 the browser would often crash. This happens especially when I'm watching videos on sites like YouTube. However, I doubt that is WOT's fault but rather a bug in Firefox itself. The only add-on I recently installed is FireFTP, which is never a...

That's also my opinion.

That's also my opinion. Especially smaller-sized links could then break the borders of whatever box or
they are in. But an option in the right click menu really would be a great addition to the addon.

@YoKenny

Nope, it's just a few bad guys causing a disaster, like so often before. And the government does hardly anything to stop them.

Back2topic: Well, it's obvious the e-mail you recieved is spam.

Re: obvious scam

@phantazm: In Germany, if you violate a law, you can get a letter from a lawyer which will cost several hundred/thousand euros. That's the biggest worry of many webmasters at the moment. That can also happen if you send spam. Because most of the money is recieved by the lawyer him/herself, that happ...

That is Spam

Spam mails like that are very common. They ask you to forward it to as many people as possible, and reward you if you do or punish you if you don't (for example, 'a monster will kill your mother tonight' and such rubbish). Do not take that serious! Neither Microsoft nor AOL can track this mail, and ...

Rightclick suggestion

Hello, sorry if a similar thread already exists, I did not find one with the search engine. I would like to suggest a new feature: An option "View WOT reputaion" if you rightclick a link. This would make it much easier to check the site rating of suspicious links before clicking them and potentially...

Addition

As Sami said, the warning does not show up if the confidence for the rating is too low, in order to reduce false warnings. There is some info on it in the Nov'08 Newsletter. I suggest that if you think the site you were working with is dangerous, give it a negative rating. Then, the warning screen w...
