RE: Please fix WOT for Firefox

Dear WOT, If users choose to uninstall WOT from their computer for the time being until the new version is released, will they lose the ability to log into the forum here and their account credentials until Mozilla Firefox officially releases the updated WOT? I assume that the updated WOT for Firefo...

Third Party Anti-Virus May Be More Problematic Than Helpful

Guys,

Good article showing that users may want to just stick with Windows Defender claiming that third party AV solutions may cause more problems than actually improve security:

RE: Firefox Emergency Patch Update Virus Going Around

Dear WOT users, If you get the "Urgent Firefox Update" screen which leads to a virus in Firefox if installed, a good idea is to use the Ad Block Plus extension if you have it and select "Report an Issue on this page", with the radio button "Firefox Does Not Block an Advertisement" selected. (Select ...

Tx for the compliment mate.

Hi Dutch Mountain,

I just put my comment on your Peter's Web Safety Page where you talk about what's happening with My WOT. I agree with the observations that you have made.

RE: User update from WOT

Dear WOT, I am upset with the selling of data allegations. My question for the My WOT Community, is how do we know that these accusations are true? They came from some German media firm and Wikipedia. And as we know, Wikipedia's data can be changed over time and at any time. I trusted WOT for many y...

RE: User update from WOT

Thank you!

Will older versions of My WOT install from our Downloads folder for users who purchase a new computer and wish to transfer their My WOT extension and profiles to their new system?

Firefox Emergency Patch Update Virus Going Around

Dear WOT, I got this redirect twice on my Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 machine. Twice in the last two weeks. I am very cautious about what I click. This is a tricky one because according to Norton Internet Security, the URL changes daily. Mozilla is aware of the problem, but does not yet have a fix. T...
