RE: How do I protect myself against pop-under ads on Mediafire?

I agree, Update your anti-virus definitions and run a full scan to check for malware. If none is found, give the site an unsatisfactory or negative rating on WOT. Lastly, do you use a pop-up blocker? I have used Ad Block Plus for years and it stops about 99% of the ads. If an ad blocker does not wor...

RE: Guidelines refreshed

Dear WOT, If the site or link has been given the green WOT symbol, why is it still necessary to mask it (hxxp) under the new policy? I agree with Nick and other WOT users. You are just creating more work for your moderators by doing this. Only those sites not rated by WOT, or with the color composit...

RE: Dark screen countdown

Dear WOT,

I would also suggest to the OP updating their virus definitions and running a full system scan. What AV do you have? What Operating System?

<quote user="Super Hero!"> Yesterday,I was thinking about this! </quote> I agree with Super Hero and Destination Truth! Yea, can't click to rate sites in Firefox either! Please Virtualize and Rate Feelgoodgames.co.uk

Dear WOT,

I am requesting a rating and site test for feelgoodgames.co.uk There are millions of gaming sites out there and this one has not been rated by WOT. What is the safety of this site at this time? Any suspicious downloads?

Is Microsoft Going too Far With the Deceptive Windows 10 Update?

Dear WOT, Do you think that Microsoft is going too far with the Windows 10 Upgrade. This article seems to say yes. For the most part, I like Windows 10, but clicking the X to close the Window does not mean "cancel" if you get the update. It means your system will update at the designated time: hxxp:...

RE: The Notoriously malicious download.cnet.com (Why I hate down

Greetings WOT Community, A few years ago, I commented about the problems with Cnet's download site installing malware wrappers in their downloads since they were purchased by CBS. When I added this information to the thread for the new WOT Management Team, Super Hero, thought it would be a cool idea...
