Domain ownership does not appear to have changed: http://who.is/domain-history/bidplenty.com
At time of reference (OP) this domain was / is a penny auction site.
Examples:
 • Google query: https://encrypted.google.com/#q=bidplenty.com
 • Youtube references: https://encrypted.google.com/#q=site:youtube.com+bidplenty.com
 •

Not much information available on this ... blog.
There is 1 "blog post" dated December 2012 which advertises Velata Fondue Products (re: velata.com) linking to a different domain of yours: fonduedoneright.com (which I decline to offer review/ratings).

Since the domain name still infers an [penny] auction site: Bid Plenty, which has nothing to do with fondue, I decline to retract my 2011 comment / ratings - the information provided then is accurate. IMO it would be best to drop the domain rather than attempt to increase it's reputation.

So, are you saying we should judge everybody or every site off of its past and not the current status?

Not even a penny auction site!

When in fact it was a PA site at time of comment (notice the comment date), is misleading.

But you're correct, things change over time, what I will do is change my comment to simply point to this thread.
I've selected "Misleading claims" category for these reasons:
1] Your reples to the 2011 comments are incorrect, at that time you ran a penny auction site and you advertised that fact across the Net.

2] the domain name is misleading concerning the site's current topic: "fondue."

edit: 13 OCT 2013
I've changed my categories to "Other" for the comment and "Good site" for the ratings.
The OP has shown major change in the site's information.
The current site posts are concerned with penny auction sites and includes caveats about them.
We have different opinions of the overall nature of PA sites, which is our right to personal expression.

Thank you, I can live with that. I also am changing my replies to "No longer a penny auction site."

I was very frustrated when I saw that someone just less than a month ago rated it as a "Scam" "penny auction site" when it hasn't been a penny auction site for over 2 years now. I first posted that reply on just theirs but then was still very irritated about it so went and copy and pasted them on all of the comments in hopes the raters would come back and see the site was changed and base their opinion off of the current status. If you don't want to change your rating then so bet it "To each his own". I'm just thankful that some users have the courtesy to base a site off what it is now and not what it used to be. If we all judge everyone off of their past mistakes or downfalls then we would all be horrible people.

At least OP is trying to be fair and honest by offering to explain the domain is no longer a PA site.
It now points to a different domain about a different product.

IMO, the OP learned about PA scripts and the perils they can proffer the hard way, dumped the script and moved on.
This is something that humans can do since they have a capacity to change. Personally, I feel this is a redeeming quality.
