Everything appears to be OK, except that you have no SSL certificate, therefore communication with the customer is not encrypted, which is a requirement for safe buying online. All communication should be under https protocol on a site like this.
Fix that and I'll rate your site green.

Is there any particular reason why your contact address uses a PO box number? You do have another address listed on several other South African websites.

Apart from that, I have to agree with WOT member RB2016. The lack of SSL encryption on the registration form means that any personal details entered can be intercepted by third-parties when transmitted over the internet. It's a pity really because otherwise your website appears to have a good reputation on camping forums. Once you have added encryption I'll be happy to give your website a positive rating.

Thanks for the feedback.

The reason for not listing our street address is we regularly get customers wanting to come to our "store". As we are primarily an online store we don't carry a lot of stock, we are concerned if we list our street address we will have customers arriving without warning and we might not have what they are looking for and we will end up with an upset customer. We have had an instance where a person phoned from out of town already on the road driving to us wanting to know our physical address and we had to turn him back because we did not have the product he wanted in stock.

We are talking to the developer and testing the site under SSL to see if it behaves. We were intending making this change at some stage anyway.

Human nature being what it is we are comparing ourselves to other similar sites and wondering why we are seen as untrustworthy. It seems to us someone must have rated us as such deliberately. From what we can see most of our peers are not on SSL either yet they are not untrustworthy.

It's difficult for me to make a judgement on other sites which don't have SSL encryption if I don't know what they are.

Perhaps your website has a relatively low rating due to the lack of encryption?

We have completed all the changes and we have gone live with SSL encryption. If your offer above still stands we would greatly appreciate the green rating.
