pixeldrain.com
Hi, I'm the creator of pixeldrain.com. It's a file transferring site similar to wetransfer, but with less limitations.
On MyWOT the site has a low score despite only having 5 star reviews, and it has the label 'Malware and Viruses'. Pixeldrain has never been infected with viruses itself. It has been used to spread viruses in the past, but I have implemented scanning systems to make sure that won't happen again. The site has been clean for over two years now.

Privacy policy: Pixeldrain does not collect or store personal user information.

I have verified ownership of the site with the WOT meta tag.
Thanks for your time.

Re: pixeldrain.com
Do you have means for users to flag files for manual review for not only malware but also other abuses?
Re: pixeldrain.com
Yes, on the download page I have a report button which allows people to report files. I will be notified when a file is reported. If a file receives many reports in a short time the file is automatically blocked.

Re: pixeldrain.com
Any update on this? The scorecard says the site is "Potentially harmful" now. Where does that come from?
Re: pixeldrain.com
I performed a cursory search regarding things pixeldrain and found everything from pedophile links to alleged defense department documents from India. Though I have not looked at your site yet, it appears to host a load of dodgy uploads.
I'm not surprised at your sites' rating.

Re: pixeldrain.com
You know what? Never mind. I'm putting effort into improving your rating system and my posts just get removed.
My website is not 'harmful', it's just a way to send files to other people. What's so hard to understand about that?
I'm out.

Re: pixeldrain.com
Are you not going to address the concerns described in the reply?
Re: pixeldrain.com
I did, but my reply got censored.
The essence was that I have been working hard to remove the illegal stuff. I have banned thousands of users, blocked tens of thousands of files and developed systems for detecting and preventing abuse. Any site that hosts user generated content has to deal with this stuff, pixeldrain is no exception.
That's why I think it's not fair that my rating is halved on WOT, despite only receiving positive feedback. And my competitors have the "Considered safe by WOT" mark while my score card says "This site is potentially harmful".

Re: pixeldrain.com
I do believe one of the issues mentioned by A440 requires immediate notification to relevant authorities when detected, and if flagged must be dealt with at top priority.
Complaining that your reply was "censored" because it went off topic doesn't help, and because WOT is about trust and not just malware can be reflected in that manner.
If you don't collect any information on users that post on your site then it will become attractive for illegal use.

Re: pixeldrain.com
Perhaps your site might profit from running as a subscription site, meaning that people would need to provide some tangible documentation as to who they are. That might well go a long way in discouraging pedophiles, dark hats, etc. since they would not be anonymous.
