Error: Looking up spascorecard.api.mywot.ninja…

Today, every attempt to view any WoT scorecard hangs, while the status bar of my browser displays:
Looking up spascorecard.api.mywot.ninja…
The WoT addon does have access to scorecard data. If I refresh a webpage displaying search results several times (as is typically necessary), the WoT safety icons are displayed.
