What did you install in IE? AFAIK there is no such add-on. The one provided here for download works with Firefox only.

The WOT Add-on can be downloaded for Firefox, IE, Google Chrome, (see the front page above "free download") and Opera/Safari (as a book-marklet - see http://www.mywot.com/en/blog/wot-bookmarklet-for-safari-and-opera)

Mistaken selection

Post by QuickMan » Sat Apr 03, 2010 6:12 pm

Maybe you've selected the version for Firefox. Did it ask what your browser is? Try uninstalling and download again and it will ask you what's the version of your browser for the add-on. And you will have a selection for these browsers:
IE
Chrome.
You're using IE right? So Select download WOT for Internet Explorer.

Thank you for this hint!

The add-ons for other browsers only show up when the site language of mywot.com is set to English. Now I can download it for Opera as well. There is no Safari or IE for Linux. :-)
