"Trusted Sources" are (were, until they were lost) a separate feature relying on evaluations by external Trusted vendors (Sources) such as VirusTotal, hpHosts, PhishTank, SpamHaus, Sucuri, and similar. Such evaluations were incorporated into WoT's trust scores to complement members' ratings. Thus some domain, already cited by VirusTotal for malware, would automatically have a low trust score at WoT even though no WoT members had yet rated it - thus providing greater protection of the WoT-using public. This is what is (was) meant by WoT's advertising that its ratings derive from human and machine assessments.
Hey Myxt,
Thanks for bringing up this important subject and sharing it with the WOT community.
Apparently there has been a slight misunderstanding - The evaluations (and blacklists) of ‘Trust Sources’ are still incorporated and taken into consideration in the ‘trust score’ WOT grants to any website, alongside members’ ratings.
In that aspect - nothing has changed.
As part of our product’s RoadMap, we will reinstate the Trust Sources display and enable the community to see which source has blacklisted any website in question.

OK, this evaluation has been on record since 2020/01/18

so it seems to me that, by now, it should have influenced this

which at this moment shows an unrated (gray) WoT icon in search

Posted reviews for sites are not showing up after having been posted.
The WOT site appears to be effectively broken. Geez . . .

The problem still exists.
As soon as I enter a review, instead of the site review loading with my review, it comes back empty and when I redo the search for reviews on the site I just reviewed, my entry is still not listed.

This is not good!

To check if it was recorded, check your rating user profile; if it's there, then the problem is just a scorecard glitch. Sometimes I need to exit the scorecard and then reload it to see my review; other times, it appears immediately.

Yes Myxt, I did this and was still finding it missing. Perhaps twice is the lucky charm. The reviews are showing up today when I check.

Currently, I get the following error when posting comments:

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/ext/paul999/mention/event/main_listener.php on line 381: sizeof(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/includes/functions.php on line 1823: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at [ROOT]/includes/functions.php:3037)
This needs a fix.

FIXED

I'm having the exact same problem as A440 - every time I submit a review, it comes back with the "We couldn't find reviews for..." screen. I re-submit, and it works fine. Happening on multiple computers, multiple locations, multiple browsers - and with two different profiles.

The first review clearly is just not going through at all - it's not simply delayed, otherwise there'd be a whole pile of duplicate reviews for every one I've reported and had to re-report, which there isn't.

Been glitching like this for the last couple of months, and is an absolute pain in the you-know-what...
