WOT extension slowing down Facebook on FireFox 84.0.1

Hi,
WOT extension for Facebook is slowing down Facebook on FireFox 84.0.1. I keep getting an error flashing on and off in a yellow banner at the top, I can't click on it to stop or disable the extension. It also makes it nearly impossible to use Facebook. The only thing I can do is disable WOT browser extension when using Facebook and then enable after I finish using Facebook. But, then there is no WOT protection for links in Facebook.

Samsung R580
OS is Win 10, 2004
i7 M 620 @ 2.67 GHz
8 GB RAM
1 TB SSD
(I do have the Win 10, 20H2 waiting to be installed)

It slowing down Facebook in Chrome browser also

With the extension installed, Facebook becomes more and more unresponsive as you scroll down the feed. Is there any fix?
I'm using chromium Edge.
