How to prank a telemarketer

Post by phantazm » Sat Sep 13, 2008 3:25 pm

I might as well start with a practical joke, I stumbled upon last year:

http://howtoprankatelemarketer.ytmnd.com

Too bad it only works in Explorer, not Firefox (unless you use IE-tab).
Remember to turn sound ON, then you can also hear the conversation:

Hello, hello..?.

How to prank - the original -

Here's the one-and-only Tom Mabe's new site:

http://www.tommabe.com/videos-find/video_index.htm
The site is being reconstructed, so after viewing a video,
use your browser's 'back' button to see the index again.

:-)

'Murder scene' is the best :-)
Caution: some 'adult' themes.

Amusing!

Profundus Maximus:
"big words, obscure terms and...ahem...even Latin"

Doesn't remind me of anyone that I can think of offhand. ;-)

Jokes first - Ketchup later...
phantazm: After the issue with hell.com was resolved, the thread began to wander off topic.
A new seperate thread, with jokes as topic, would make more sense, methinks... ;)

Off-topic..?
logicman: Maybe a new category: "Absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with spam, phishing, fraud, viruses, trojans, worms, rogue software or anything at all in any way shape or form to do with web security, site evaluation, or any broadly similar or related topic whatsoever in any form or style, but reserved exclusively for the sort of insane stuff that tends to put a severe dent in any serious reviewer's reputation."
Or maybe: "Fun stuff." :-)

On-topic..!
phantazm: Jokes might be off topic in a specific context. But in a more general sense, humour can still be quite related. An ancient example could be Monty Pythons "Spam, spam, spam, wonderful spam...". But of course there is newer stuff as well. If we all shared our favourites, this could be a quite entertaining thread. And still on topic, in the general sense...

This thread could also cover sites, that are weeeird but harmless.
Merely labelling such sites "other" or "useless" is a bit unprecise, methinks...
