Interesting !
BTW : Here in holland the court has ordered two big providers a few weks ago to block The Pirate bay as well.
Useless, bcoz a lot of people find ways to avoid that blockade.

Porn, Piracy, and the Internet << nice title for a movie!
reminds me of Planes, trains, and automobiles

I preferred the Net back in the old days when there were no corporations / advertisements / spam.

Agreed. It surprises me when I'm fixing someones computer and they have no ad/trackers/script blockers, the amount of junk and advertisements they are willing to put up with just to browse the internet. I very rarely see advertisements, so I never notice how bad the problem has become until I'm using someone else computer.

I think you mean: Cars and Trucks and Things that Go :)

more off topic
in an earlier session I discovered this site which was missing it's index so I was able to see default folder view; forget the domain name ATM. It had a few directories, one being dedicated to children and had song titles from an old record I had as a child, forgotten about until today - it was from 50 years ago give or take a few years, available from Sears and Roebuck titled: Little White Duck & Other Songs Of Birds And Animals - googled I remember, before my first birthday, being bounced up and down on my mother's knee while she sang her rendition of The Animal Farm

The argument for censorship for the sake of children makes no sense to me. Small children shouldn't be browsing unsupervised.
