I can't help contrasting the outcry against WoT for trying to get some financing for its excellent free service, with the regret at seeing its "employees" leaving.

One theory is that they are leaving in disgust at the spectre of a free service morphing into a funded operation.

Another theory is that the employees are leaving because they have found paid employment elsewhere.
