Milestones

Post by c۞g » Mon Sep 22, 2014 4:54 pm

Curious...
The next add-on download milestone will soon be reached when it hits 125 million.
It's currently just over the 124 million count.

Will there be a blog announcement?
It seem the blog has been dead since May 2014 (last post)

Will there be a forum announcement?
Or will the landmark download count simply be forgotten?

and the next milestone after that will be Nov. 23, 2014. . . the six months of keeping members in the dark. Hmm maybe they ran out of light bulbs.

I do love the addon.
The community is very friendly and useful also, which is always nice.
However, the staff appear to have gone AWOL. Not so much of a positive.

Over 125 million downloads and no Blog post from Staff
It's safe to assume the CEO has left and the only staff remaining is donsorg

Next milestone... 150 million downloads.
Will WOT survive to reach that count?

"WOT reached 125M downloads worldwide!!!
Thank you all for support and recommending it to your friends and family!"
Well, by accident I found that we are the only ones , not to be told
See

They know, but we were not invited to the party :/

I saw that too. In total dismay that they are putting FB over their own site. (shaking head) I'm trying so hard to stay positive; seems a futile thing for me to do at this point.

That was posted after I posted the screen capture snippet.
Well past the time when WOT reached 125M

Interesting how neither the Blog nor the FaceBook page has made any acknowledgements about the month of October, the official #NCSAM

"I had a feeling about that :)

I read your post and started to browse for news about WOT, when I stumbled upon the official FB account, by them enough time passed to make that post in FB

I have forgotten the WOT FB, but I never imagined that there was going to be any response to any milestone or answer to this thread, I was wrong, but I am suspecting that this whole thing is foreign to whoever is the CEO AWOL

Regardless of the outcome, we all did a great job as you said once, "we are WOT" and we left a good mark on the net and in my case I learned a great deal, from you personally

Not about human nature, I already had an idea about it, but about electronics and in particular about computing ........... is truly beautiful, and about great music, for that I am grateful

@DT =

seems a futile thing for me to do at this point.

Please don't say that, you have been through so much and with God's help, you overcome it all, let's do what we came here for and at this moment, we need positive attitude and faith, and keep the net safe, for others to enjoy

Who cares if others get the credit or don't care about our little, but important mark in this world, now is the time, for our work to shine .......... it was never about them or for them :-)

The day I leave, it would be in my terms or as long I can rate freely my opinion w/o interruption, no because some clueless bunch, for that, we already have the politicians and we are not like them

When it comes to safety, based on trust of a site, no one comes close

We are the best, we are WOT!

Let's Rock and rate =

What is happening to WOT?

No blog posts since May 2014. Where are Sami and Timo? I don't use Facebook, haven't looked there, but I am active on Twitter, and I am puzzled.

Why has WOT gone silent?
