Just an FYI:
Malwarebytes said it could take three or four weeks to fix flaws in its consumer product that were found by a Google security researcher

Your welcome.
Though it is a fine product (Malwarebytes); I personally switched to Emsisoft AM Pro a long time ago and been very satisfied.

Accidentally I found this

It's a full version for 30 days and then turns into a free version that works a lot like the free version of MB. Not real time protection after trial.

Currently using:
Emsisoft Pro
Eset SS 9
with Scotty on the side. (win patrol pro)

RE: Malwarebytes Has Major Flaw
Is there really a need to have an additional software like this one if I already am using an AV software ??

Consider many of them to be backups of your main AV- which itself should be considered a backup. For most people the entire battle will be on the internet- making a well secured browser the single most important program on your computer- far more important to your privacy/security than the generally overrated, ineffective and sometimes harmful AVs.
If you are interested you could search my previous posts for details on how to actually pull that off.

Well I will give the same answer for the reason I have a sidearm always strapped to me.
Better to have it and not need it; then need it and not have it.
