Activity level

instead of CAPTCHA
why not set Activity Level = Rookie to MAX [cumulative] posts = 10 per day; all postings: blog, forum, scorecard comments.

You can not "stop" spam, but you can limit it.

just a thought ...

this is an alternative to possibly enacting a CAPTCHA after x-quantity postings...

I'd rather see Rookies have restrictions versus all users...
Besides, what's the "hurry" to increase activity levels?
Isn't it better to learn about WOT, what is is, how it works, why your comments should be clear and concise, etc?

It was going to happen sooner or later :( I am sure it's their way to mock sites that combat them.
