What is your view of Donald Trump, the newly elected US President ?
RE: What is your view of Donald Trump, the newly elected US Pres
A lot of people are judging him based on what he is saying/ has said.
I mean, hey, look at the stock market in the US, they actually went up after his victory.
Economy may not be heading for a downturn after all.
Though, I still have doubts over the Mexican wall.

What I'm wondering about is when are all of those buses starting out for Canada?

I saw something like this coming some years back and left then.
Considering the events that have occured with the passage of time, I don't regret that choice.

Liberty and Justice for all just went out the door.
and heaven forbid if you ever say anything he doesn't like.
When you can't drink the water, or breath the air. . . tell me how the stock market is doing.
When you watch those Minuteman missiles fly over and you awake to a silver sunrise. . . tell me how the stock market is doing.
Oh and that wonderful 7 million a year for Carrier. . . not as many jobs as he said, they still are going to Mexico and according to the CEO they now can invest 16 million in the next two years to automate, and yes he said it would replace many more jobs.
The problem with trickle down theory is greed. . . giving the rich more does not mean they spend more; it means they pocket more.
The reason it is still called a theory is because it has never been proven to or had ever worked.
Trump is a "great" salesman and many are buying the junk he is selling.

Hello everybody
I think that Donald changes his political actions since he won the election.

Trump....here in Europe we're shivering in our pants.
But yeah, the man is chosen and that's irriversible. Unbelievable that this can happen !
Let's hope that "the soup will not be eaten as hot as it was served" ( Dutch idiom ) ....
My thoughts.

BTW : don't tell him where the button is to launch nuclear weapons

Indeed. hxxp://www.cnn.com/2016/11/17/politics/donald-trump-nuclear-codes/index.html
"Washington (CNN)Beginning on January 20, President-elect Donald Trump will be accompanied at all times by a military aide carrying the nuclear "football," enabling him to order a nuclear strike at a moment's notice.
Just like his predecessors, whether he is at the White House, in a motorcade, aboard Air Force One or on a trip overseas, he will never be more than an arm's reach away from the aide and his satchel."
I'm American and for what it is worth, I and my state voted for Ms. Clinton. Trump is an embarrassment. Worse still, he is impulsive and thinks his money makes him better than anyone else. He acts as though life is a reality show he can control. Even worse, I think he may be clinically insane.
On top of that, Trump has made a lot of promises he can't deliver on to a lot of citizens who were already angry at how American politics was being conducted. When things begin toget worse, or even fall apart because of him...well, you know how they say history always repeats itself? Will the Trump Tower become the modern-day Bastille? Or will Trump just blow us all up?
There are a lot of us over here who disagree with Trump. It's sometimes difficult to face the international community; it's embarrassing, to say the least. That man seems to stand for everything American isn't.
