Community Update - WoT on Firefox

Hi everyone,

We’d like to update you on the status with our Firefox add-on and what is planned ahead.

We are fully aware of the current status and are in the process of resolving it with the team at Mozilla. It’s important to emphasize that a new revised version has already been submitted and it is currently awaiting review.

We are hopeful that this new version will pass the review as it fully complies with Firefox’s requirements. Once it passes review, Firefox users will be automatically updated to it and everyone will have the latest version.

We understand this is an inconvenient situation, especially for our Firefox users who are now unable to use the add-on and browse the web safely. This is why we are doing our very best to get the add-on back to the store as soon as possible and remove the block.

We appreciate your patience and we will provide you with more updates as quickly as possible.

Why in the name of God did WOT stoop to such low (data mining) practices to begin with?

Just tried every link and they are fine. Did you remove the "_"

Alas, if you're using Firefox 48 or later, it does not permit you to install un-reviewed add-ons, and the ability to override this restriction in about:config has been removed. I'm on Firefox 51.

Anxiously awaiting approval by Mozilla... Is the new MyWoT plugin going to be multiprocess compatible?

Its been over a month since WOT first announced that a new revised version was awaiting review. When can we expect the new version to be available?

Unfortunately there is no particular reason other than a delay in the review process on Mozilla's side.
We have indeed submitted a new version over a month ago and are still waiting for it to be approved. As said, we will be more than happy to provide you with updates as soon as possible. Thanks for understanding.
