I see this idea was implemented. Very nice, and VERY convenient!

I'm glad WOT now automatically puts a "RE:" title rather than what it used to do.

Perhaps a silly question, and certainly a minor point,
but I'm still curious: What does "RE" mean..?

@ phantazm =
Re: means “in reference to” or “in regard to”. It is from the Latin word “Res”, meaning “thing”. You’ll also commonly see Re: in the subject lines of e-mail messages.

In my opinion , there are not sillies questions , only silly answers !

Here's what Wikipedia has to say about RE:

RE: or "Re:" followed by the subject line of a previous message indicates a reply to that message.

Regarding "RE"

Post by phantazm » Fri Dec 17, 2010 11:49 pm

Thanks for the answers. I have so far guessed that "RE" probably meant "regarding" or something like that.
But that would still be only a guess. And as I've warned others several times 'not to jump to conclusions'.
I thought I'd better follow my own advice... ;-)

SuperHero58: "In my opinion , there are not sillies questions , only silly answers !"

I think I'll agree. If "RE" had been something happening only once, it would have been a very minor issue,
But since it is a new 'tradition', it will be repeated thousands of times, and therefore I thought it mattered...

@ phantazm = My great teacher in Madrid told us , never to be embarrassed to ask a question not matter how silly { stupid was the word he used } the question may sound . I have never forgotten his advise -
sorry for going off topic here -
