Curious about all the new accounts, now I did ask admin a few days ago (oddly enough), and they say at that time they're not multiple accounts. . . So tell me what brought the rush of traffic to rate MyLife.

I also find it interesting that now all a sudden you come in for a review. Guess all those "rookie" raters didn't do what you thought / hoped it would. At least that's what logic dictates to me.

Though I haven't rated your site, I find it to be very full of deceit.
Just about any name you Google will come up with a hit as if there's an account with mylife.

Without even investigating I would have to say the red rating is appropriate due to the overwhelming negative statistics.

BTW that's 25 new "rookie" accounts in 10 days.
All Positive Comments.

This is just another data-mining company collecting people's information. On a Firefox browser you cannot even view search results without signing up. After registering with a 10minute e-mail account, I cannot tell if it is even possible to remove your personal information if they have it in their database.

Every page wants more information or money. I would highly recommend any rookie computer users to stay as far away from this website as possible. I have seen their TV commercials, their clever gimmick is "find who is searching for you", so Grandma Susie goes there and enters her information and now they database that information, and then throw 20 popups at her and emails wanting money to go further.

Here are their BBB statistics:

http://www.la.bbb.org/business-reviews/Information-Search-Retrieval-Services/My-Life-in-Santa-Monica-CA-13177175

1130 complaints closed with BBB in last 3 years

BBB sums it up:

My Life has failed to resolve underlying cause(s) of a pattern of complaints

Complainants generally allege that the company automatically renews memberships and debits accounts. Some customers report signing up for the service based on a low monthly rate but are charged for a non-refundable yearly or a lesser term subscription up-front.

Yes sir, I would suggest rating hxxp://wink.com and hxxp://reunion.com as well, they are sister websites of MyLife

I have already received a request to check my rating by the poster.

mylife.com and reunion.com are owned by the same owner http://whois.domaintools.com/mylife.com http://whois.domaintools.com/reunion.com But at the same time http://whois.domaintools.com/wink.com and http://whois.domaintools.com/classmates.com are not owned by the same owner. Probably the reason they don't have the same owner is because he might be trying to hide himself. Anyone want to add other reasons?
