I don't and you seem to be confusing your opinion with just being wrong. But, so noted. Thanks.

Yes us along with every big company in the world does affiliate programs. We usually ban several affiliate accounts after we do a complete investigation per month, if we receive complains about any wrong doings. We actually have a team dedicated to investigate and follow up on any complains our company receives. However so far we never received any email spamming complains. As we strongly discourage emailing customers for no reason. We do send limited emails only to our customers who already bought something from us in Canada only and that is if they subscribed to receiving emails.

@KailoWOT
We do not practice black hat SEO and a business like us has really no reason to waste time and effort in such activities. Instead we have listed our website on all popular shopping comparison websites and we do run Google Adwords campaign for last 3 years. So it is not necessary to practice some black hat technique for temporary result instead we do practice ethical seo which brought us top on www.google.ca for a keywords like (brand computer store, online computer store, computer accessories store, gaming cases and many more...)

Now your opinion of spamming makes vendors question reliability. my answer is, when you do run affiliate programs and carefully review thousands of publishers but some are still doing dirty work behind your back, you need to complain against them to us, so we can go to the website and check which affiliate is doing that, in turn only then we can take actions towards them.

Without notifying us if someone just decides to post on the forum against us this will not resolve the issue at all. However when people see our advertisement on the newspaper or they read some great reviews by many popular blog writers in Canada, people will without doubt know that the internet forum information was false, in fact they will have doubts about the authors of these vicious forum posts. People as a whole aren't stupid they will figure that these posts on such forums are made by jealous or unknowledgeable folks who are just trying to ruin our reputation.

So as a good business practice we definitely want to receive complaints about us, which only makes us better develop our company and continue serving our customers even better.

Lastly we appreciate your effort for a detail review about our marketing strategies. We strive to make our company an user friendly, small business kindness with big business pricing and shipping rates. We hope to gain more support from people because we prove to everyone that our company is an ethical Canadian company.

Thank you again and hope you guys have a wonderful day!

Affiliate URLs usually contain some sort of identifier (eg. ?aid=123A56F) otherwise they will not get accredited for the hit and I don't remember seeing many such identifiers in the evidence that I provided. Perhaps I'm wrong. :|

KailoWOT>>>>My friend you are not wrong but not 100% correct too. Actually the results are mixed. I sent my developer team to investigate who is doing this also asked the team to create a new email address for only web spam complain report, which will be directly read by the owners to take immediate actions.

I hope this way we would be developing our self even better. And people remain trust on us.

I (and other moderators) have deleted 7 different spam posts made by 4 different users, from donationcoder.com's forum in which the posters attempted to bypass the rule of no signatures displayed for new members (until they prove they can be trusted), by inserting the signature into the post itself. All 4 of them used the exact same signature, linking back to computervalley.ca. Some of these posts made no sense at all and seemed to be either auto-generated or written by a complete moron.

Here are all 7 posts:

I rated the site as poor in all of the categories because I do not consider spammers as trustworthy, in any category. Any company that would market themselves through the shady practice of forum spam is untrustworthy, unreliable as a vendor, can't be trusted to adhere to their privacy policy, and I certainly wouldn't trust them with my trash on the curb, nevermind my children.

I, and the other moderators at donationcoder.com, have no reason to believe that these posts are not forum spam and my rating and comment labeling them as a "forum spammer" will not be changed.

Hello,

In this topic we already discussed how to complain to us if some affiliate members are doing so to gain their ranking in our affiliates category or if some of our seo team doing something wrong. Instead complain to us or resolve with us, this is not a good practice to complain some where else. That is certainly not resolving your problem instead just creating trouble for both.

We have a contact section where people can contact us or we have even toll free number for contact. So it would be an wise idea to let us know if someone doing wrong with our name or giving your trouble, so we can immediately take actions against it. I hope I was able to resolve your issue by now.

Please note: forum spam and an eCommerce business is not the same thing. We previously said we are interested in ethical seo and this is why we have our business listed in every shopping comparison website to bring our customers. we don't need to spam on any forum at all.

Regards,
CV Team

I have been reading the whole thread and I would have skipped the talk if you wouldn't have written the following line:

I find it pretty weird that you expect strangers (for example: "me") to watch over your company's affiliate members behavior and the actions of your seo team. From my point of view, it's your job to watch over your company (including affiliates, partners and employees), not ours.

But as I could not find any issues within the website itself, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. Use it wisely! ;)

Rated benevolent.

The spam is not stopping and this is not the work of affiliates either.. this is a Black Hat SEO/Marketeer (and not a very bright one at that)..

Scorecard reply:

We already terminate contract with one seo company, let us see if there is more. Thanks for keeping us update. But really wonder why they need to spam for no reason.

I suspect it is because the SEO's contract out this type of work to smaller.. erm.. "specialist" outfits.
